1. No Personal Data Collection
We do not collect or store:

- IP addresses in plain form
Users only need to choose a random username and set a password.
2. Publicly Visible Data
By using HidePress, you acknowledge and agree that the following information is publicly visible:
- Your chosen username
- The amount of server storage used by your account
- All public content you publish (posts, pages, etc.)
- Words used on your site (aggregated and counted)
- Tags and categories created by you
- Number of visitors to your site
- Bandwidth/traffic generated by your site
- Site popularity rankings based on usage and traffic
This is part of our radical transparency approach — ensuring that users know what is hosted and relevant in the network.
3. Minimal Technical Tracking
We store encrypted hashes of IP addresses temporarily (24 hours) for abuse prevention. These hashes are non-reversible and not associated with specific users.
4. Use of Cookies
HidePress may use minimal, functional cookies for:
- Login sessions
- CAPTCHA verification
- Basic security (e.g., CSRF protection)
We do not use tracking cookies or third-party profiling mechanisms.
5. Advertising
HidePress uses Anonymous Ads (AADS) as its advertising partner.
AADS is a privacy-focused ad network that:
- Does not require personal data
- Does not track users across the web
- Does not set any cookies
- Temporarily saves your IP address in encrypted form for 24 hours. After that, it will be deleted.
- Operates with maximum anonymity in mind
Ads are served based only on technical data such as language or time, not on user identity.
6. Data Transparency
All user-generated content, categories, tags, usage metrics (storage, traffic), and aggregated word usage are displayed transparently across the platform. This allows users and visitors to see what topics are active and what sites are receiving the most engagement.
7. User Responsibility
Do not use personally identifiable information on HidePress unless you explicitly want it to be public. Your username and published content are visible to everyone.
We also advise not to choose usernames that resemble your real name or any real person’s name.
8. Use of Cloudflare
We use Cloudflare, a service provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (USA), for security, performance optimization, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may temporarily store data such as your IP address, browser details, and general access metadata for security and caching purposes.
Cloudflare operates as a data processor under strict contractual agreements and complies with relevant data protection laws. No personal data is collected or stored permanently by Cloudflare on our behalf.

9. Uploader
We provide a file uploader (https://hidepress.to/upload/) that automatically deletes each file after 24 hours. After uploading, the uploader receives a link to the file and a link to immediately delete it. If the deletion link is clicked, the file is immediately and irrevocably removed from the server. HidePress has no use for the uploaded files.
