The Site Index is a (search) feature that allows you to find any website or blog within HidePress. You can browse the list and browse freely to see what content is available, or you can use the search field and enter specific terms that interest you.
What is the Site Index for?
The index is designed to ensure that any type of content can be found at any time. We are transparent, including regarding the content of our network. This also facilitates moderation, allowing unwanted content to be quickly removed. Users are welcome to browse and report content via the provided email address.
The websites that have made recent changes are always displayed at the top.
This also helps our website to be found more easily by search engines, and vice versa. HidePress users therefore receive many visitors.
I don’t want my website listed there, what can I do?
Unfortunately, it is not possible (or desired) to make exceptions. Every website is indexed without exception. Deindexing is not planned.
Can I use this myself?
You can easily implement the site index in your blog post or subpage using the [site-index] shortcode. See: https://hidepress.to/site-index
